kitchen unit/bed
To be honest I've never used it as a back rest as I don't have the extra cushens. the unit fits between down the middle for traveling, resting on the lips on the single beds/benches. I'm guessing that the unit lays up against the end wall to act as a back rest. the photocopied hand book I have doesn...

sink unit/table
Hi,
I have an orignal sink unit , but not the table( wish I did)
I don't use the sink unit as it's so heavy and awkward to manoeuvre. I've got a sheet of wood instead.
I'm snowed under currently, but I could bring it over for you to see later in the year if you like.
Email me,
Koren

quilting
You might regret that ! my van had polystyrene all over it when I got it it, and it was a nightmare to get off, and made a real mess. It had to be removed because it was mouldy behind. I plan now to cover the lower walls with that table heat protector stuff and the roof with head lining. Need to fix...

not flocked
Hi, I'm not flocked either- but I am quilted! My van has had the flocking painted over with layers of white emulsion, which has been a nightmare to remove. Not sure weather to re-flock or just line roof, but I must do something, I spent 7 days waking up with soggy bedding over the summer :( . some o...

gas bottle mounting
Hi, I brought 2 motor bike panniers earlier in the year to fit either side of the draw bar. I have a 'short draw bar' portafold with no room for either a gas bottle or battery box, so the theory is that I can save space inside to accomodate gas and battery by putting tools, foot pads, jack etc in th...

Caravan 'feet'
Hi, I was lucky enough to have a set of these 'feet' included when I bought my Portafold. This year they were a god-send! I managed to book my holiday at the same time as the floods at the beginning of September :( . The campsite I was staying on was just outside Birmingham and suffered from cascadi...

When I bought my Portafold it had been painted inside with numerous layers of white emulsion. the roof was in a terrible state. we used marine paint stripper, but it was hell to do. under the paint were signs of the flocking and plenty of mould. Under the shelving had been covered with that polystye...
