Reluctant sale of my Portafold

I have decided to sell my 1972 Portafold as I no longer need it, I have listed it on ebay tonight, hopefully it will go to a good home.

Replacing cushions

I seem to remember a post on this but can't find it.

Has anyone replaced the foam cushions and, if so, where did you get the foam and can you go any thicker than 3" or will this cause a problem when folding the van?

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hello Ray and welcome to the club, I used Toplac paint on my van with a roller and brush and got pretty good results but it was time consuming. You put it on with a roller and it looks awful but as soon as you brush it over it gives a great finish the trick is not to go over it if you make a mistake...

Re: Phunkie Project Portafold

Sorry about that you are correct, I don't know how I missed your van as I always trawl the campsite looking for Portafolds, we were staying in the mansion house.

I saw the other three but completely missed out on yours, never mind there's always next year!!

Re: Phunkie Project Portafold

Well done I have really enjoyed your posts and the workmanship is second to none, I hope you have many happy times with your van. The pinstriping looks great!!

I was looking for it at the Street Rod Nationals at the weekend but I assume you were not there....
