Ian,

Have you got those before and after pics? It'd be great to see how the soda blasting went.

Replacements? - Possible Colour-coding? - Possible Customising option from the manufacturer? - Possible I've learnt to 'never say never' when it comes to Portafolds. I know my roof is certainly a lighter shade than the rest of my body (which is the yellow/cream colour) but that's just down to the su...

Ian,

I was given the name of a company that supplied the correct type hinges for an early tubular style Portafold. Whether they're still available or whether they continued using the same size and design of hinge throughout the years of manufacture I don't know.

Found some more info on boat paints. All these sites sell Epoxy paint systems especially designed for painting GRP boats. They also have guides and videos on how to prepare and use them.

Fraser, Can you post a picture of your cap on here and i'll compare it to the ones I've had made. We have covered some of this before and to save myself from plagiarizing what other people have told me, i'll direct you to the other posting first: http://www.portafold.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=144&...

Fraser,

Do you have the long stub axles on yours?

I do have a supplier but getting them is a bit of a problem at the moment. He's having trouble producing good quality end products.

Incidentally, If you have the short stub axles normal Mini/Reliant ones will fit.

No not yet, but I was thinking only today about what stickers to get done, and obviously, how much they're going to cost to me, and to you. I don't really like to lay out money on 'stock' but it's something that has to be done at some point so I'll hopefully have them done before the summer's finish...
