A Portafold has been put up for sale by Roland. I have estimated it to be either a 1966 or 67 model.

Here is what Roland says about it:

"We reluctantly have to offer our Portafold for sale. It is in good, very useable condition and has recently been the subject of significant expenditure.

The previous owner replaced the brakes and wheel bearings and we have added: New upholstery (including foam), new curtains, 12V electrics including a leisure battery, LED light, sockets, USB socket and a small cool box, all of which are new. 240v hookup with sockets (all on correct RCD) and a battery charger/conditioner, again new. Brand new Mini alloy wheels and quality tyres.

Bodywork is in great condition for a 50 year old caravan but obviously has a degree of ‘pagination’. The lower bodywork and roof have been professionally sprayed, but the roof does have the inevitable crazing. We also have a modern awning, groundsheet and carpet which were all new last year.

With regard to price; these seem to be appreciating rapidly but we are open to realistic offers."

My disclaimer:

Just so you know, I am completely impartial and I won't give any valuations on Portafolds or Ansfolds, neither do I get involved in the price being asked for any caravans being sold. I do not act as a go-between or an agent and therefore I take no commission or fee for putting prospective buyers in touch with sellers. This is a purely free service that I provide to the members of this forum. Beware of individuals that deal in Portafolds who masquerade as private sellers. As far as I am aware, all the details I pass on are private sellers, unless I specifically state otherwise in the listing.
