For members who are not familiar with message board abbreviations, here is a list:

AFAIK = As Far As I Know
BTW = By The Way
CBA = Can't Be A**** (Bothered)
FBH = Flipping Big Hammer
FUBAR = F***ed Up Beyond All Recognition
FWIW = For What It's Worth
HTH = Hope This Helps
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion
IMO = In My Opinion
ISTR = I Seem To Recall
LOL = Laughing Out Loud
OP = Original Poster
OTOH = On The Other Hand
PO = Previous Owner
RITRORP = Refitting Is The Reversal Of Removal Procedure
ROFL = Rolling On Floor Laughing
SNAFU = Situation Normal, All F***ed Up
SWMBO = She Who Must Be Obeyed (Wife - Term coined by TV character Rumpole of the Bailey.)
WHS = What He Said (Referring to post above)

Of course, if you're getting on a bit in life, your abbreviations may be construed as the following though:

ATD = At The Doctors
BFF = Best Friend Fell
BTW = Bring The Wheelchair
BYOT = Bring Your Own Teeth
FWIW = Forgot Where I Was
GHA = Got Heartburn Again
IMHO = Got My Hearing-aid On
LMDO = Laughing My Dentures Out
TTYL = Talk To You Louder

Of course, the other option is to write the Queens English as it should be written... :wink:
